DESCRIPTION
Opus XII Rose Incense by Amouage is a luxurious and enigmatic unisex fragrance that explores the tension between floral beauty and smoky mystery.
Inspired by drama, memory, and the intrigue of the unsolved “rosebud” mystery, this fragrance is a modern olfactory masterpiece where rich rose petals meet deep incense, dark woods, and warm resins. With a powerful 25% oil concentration and an ageing process of 6 weeks (3 weeks maceration and 3 weeks maturation), it delivers exceptional richness, depth, and longevity.
The fragrance opens with elemi, olibanum hyper absolute, and a black ink accord, creating an unusual and captivating introduction where resinous brightness meets dark smoky mystery. The ink accord adds a contemporary artistic twist, making the opening feel unique and unforgettable.
At the heart, Damascena rose water, suederal, and frankincense absolute unfold, blending soft floral elegance with smoky leathery warmth. This creates a rich and dramatic heart where the beauty of rose feels both delicate and deeply intense.
As it settles, myrrh, vanilla, sandalwood, and cedarwood create a warm and powerful base, leaving a creamy, resinous, woody, and long-lasting trail that feels luxurious, spiritual, and deeply captivating.
Dark, elegant, and mysterious — Opus XII Rose Incense is a fragrance crafted for those who seek depth, artistry, and timeless sophistication.
